An Invitation to Eternity: Marie De Decker at the Collective Exhibition at Subtile

The collective exhibition at Subtile is set to open its doors, creating a unique space where the works of several artists converge to celebrate diversity and contemporary artistic innovation. Amidst this event, I am honored to present my artistic vision alongside other talents, each exploring, in their own way, the relationships between matter, spirituality, and contemplation.

Stepping into My Universe: Sacred Art Meets Innovative Techniques

As part of this collective exhibition, I will be showcasing a selection of my recent works, created using natural, bio-based, and biodegradable materials, blending ancient gilding techniques with touches of artificial intelligence. This hybrid approach reflects my desire to explore the intersection between the sacred and the contemporary, offering an experience where each piece becomes a gateway to deeper reflections on our relationship with eternity.

While this is a group exhibition, I have designed my pieces to engage in dialogue with the other artworks on display, while maintaining the uniqueness that defines my practice. My goal is to offer the public a moment of contemplation, a space where time seems to stand still, inviting each person to ponder the beauty of the world and the richness of our existence.

Born in Montmartre and now based between Luxembourg and Mauritius, my artistic journey is deeply influenced by cultural diversity. This richness is expressed in my creations, blending inspirations drawn from the Mauritian landscapes with ancestral techniques reimagined through digital innovation.

Each piece I will present at the exhibition is the result of in-depth research, combining the organic with the digital to create timeless works. My work celebrates the uniqueness of objects and the return to slow, meticulous artistic practices in contrast to the mechanical production of our time.

An Inspiring Artistic Collaboration
