Nature Singulière — Biennale De Mains de Maîtres
From 20 to 23 November 2025, Marie De Decker took part in the fifth De Mains de Maîtres Biennial in Luxembourg, presented under the theme Nature Singulière.
Among the three works exhibited was Linceul, a four-metre monumental sculpture. Suspended in space, its structure of gold and gathered fishing nets placed the permanence of metal in tension with the fragility of living forms.

Feather and scale motifs repeated, shifted and gradually faded. Rather than depicting a specific organism, they extended principles observed in nature: growth, interdependence, variation and transformation.
Light and shadow formed part of the work itself, extending it beyond its material boundaries and making it responsive to architecture and the viewer’s movement.
