Marie De Decker selects objects marked by a former life in order to reveal their stories. Blown glass, wood, stones, and domestic or ritual objects become vessels for renewed transmission.

Gilding does not cover them: it brings memory to the surface, shifts their function and establishes another relationship to time, use and preservation.
