In Ode to Indian Ocean, the light observed on the surface of the Indian Ocean becomes structure. Feather and scale motifs repeat, shift and fragment like reflections on the water at dusk. Rose gold does not cover the work: it constructs its variations.
Framed yet animated by a continuous movement, the piece stands between sculpture and landscape. Depending on the angle of view, the material seems to densify, fade and reappear, like a luminous memory of the ocean.
